Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting a Graduate Laboratory Technician for a manufacturer in Barnsley. Reporting into the Quality Assurance Manager, the core role will be to conduct testing on incoming raw material and final product samples, recording results and identification of trends. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate or an Entry Level Quality Assurance/Laboratory Technician who is looking to pursue a longer term career in this area. The role will be Monday-Friday, days only and all relevant training on test protocol will be given. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 
* Testing of raw material and manufactured product to a defined programme
* Maintain your test records in a retrievable manner
* Analysis of results for non-conformity and identification of trends
* Communication of your findings to the Line Manager
* Assisting in investigation with additional testing as required 
* Testing trial samples to support efforts to maximise production efficiency and product quality 
* Complete all tests to trained methods in a timely manner
I’m keen to speak to individuals with the following skillset:
* Previous laboratory and/or QA experience is advantageous 
* A motivation to learn 
* GCSE in Maths, English and Science 
* Good communication skills
