My client is a creative agency business based in Salford. Due to a large new contract which has increased their work,load they are recruiting this newly created position into their team, they have increased their turnover by 50% recently and are an incredibly stable business with excellent growth opportunities.

As an Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for a variety of transactional accounting duties which will include managing the purchase ledger from start to finish, processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements and bank accounts, dealing with supplier queries, processing payments and dealing with credit card expenses. You will also be involved with project coordination such as hotel bookings, transport bookings, submitting planning applications and permits and allocating purchase order numbers to the relevant project and cost code. As you will be working in a small team there will be opportunities to get involved with processes outside of your job description as everyone in the business has a ’all hands on deck’ attitude to work, giving you excellent variety in your day to day.

This role will suit a candidate who has experience in transactional accounting role as well as other office administrative duties in order to assist with the different processes you will be getting involved with and who enjoys having variety in their day to day work.

The salary on offer is paying up to £30,000 dependant on experience with a generous holiday entitlement and benefits such as lunch provided on Fridays from local food shops and restaurants.
