Job Description:
To oversee day-to-day integration and financial management of the newly acquired business. Support the business as it rapidly grows through acquisition. Contribute effectively to the planning and resourcing of any acquisitions made. Manage all technical elements of the acquisition, including goodwill calculation, and ensure monthly reporting is accurate.

Our client is Private Equity backed organisation that has gone through huge growth in the last few years. This role will have heavy involvement within the growth journey going forward as the support the new acquisitions that will be brought into the business.
Description
* Prepare all acquisition completion accounts for the target companies and oversee the integration of their systems.
* Reviewing financial information, preparing accurate financial reports, and interpreting data.
* Developing financial management strategies to reduce financial risk and maximize profits.
* Providing relevant recommendations to assist executives in decision-making.
* Manage small finance team and monitor when the team needs to grow inline with the activity of acquisition.
* Support the development of Datarails financial reporting software.
* Fully understand all activities carried out by the newly acquired company and help and support team in order to provide support, advice, and direction
* Adhere to the finance calendar and the SLA; this includes month-end tasks and journals being completed on time
* Liaise and collaborate with other departments on issues affecting finance transactions, e.g. sales and operations.
* Review processes to ensure they are up to date, fit for purpose and fulfil the function. Always strive to improve the processes to simplify, improve control or quality and speed up tasks
* Support the management and integration of an acquired business to include review of suppliers, reconciling acquisition bank accounts as well as reconciling opening balances to the acquired accounting system for the purpose of transferring over to our system
* Ensure no loss of service to current and new stakeholder during the integration of an acquired business
* To have excellent liaison and communication with all customers and departments
