Salary: £38,569 - £42,962 per annum (Band H) as of the 1st Jan 2024
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a demonstrable track record of managing and delivering change and delivering IT and technology solutions to support our two award winning companies to make a real difference to people’s lives, homes and communities. Working with stakeholders and operational staff you will gather and analyse requirements in order to recommend and define system and software solutions to be delivered to the business.
Are you:
* An experienced Business Analyst?
* Genuinely passionate about making a difference to our residents and able to use your initiative to deliver top quality customer service?
* Able to work with Stakeholders to understand and identify current business processes, identifying areas of waste and hand offs and redefine processes?
* Technically minded and able to understand technical systems including where they connect, overlap and identify dependencies?
* Someone who has a keen interest and understanding of technology and can work alongside our internal Development Team, Suppliers and Product Owners to understand multiple technical software solutions, feasibility and capabilities?
* Someone that has positive and flexible attitude, with strong values that align well to ours?
Do you have:
* Experience of 2+ years within a Business Analyst role?
* A strong customer focused and empathetic approach to dealing with people?
* The ability to work on your own initiative and within a team environment to meet agreed challenging deadlines and therefore capable of organising your workload and making decisions?
* Excellent communication skills and the self-awareness to differentiate communication to different audiences?
* A proven ability of leading on large scale projects defining system and software solutions backed up by a sound knowledge of software development and methodologies?
* A proven ability in running and facilitating workshops including expertise in requirement elicitation, working with stakeholders and operational staff in gathering requirements, developing strategy and translating requirements to key stakeholders?
* A proven ability in analysing requirements using both appropriate and a variety of methodologies and creating designs to specifications?
* Detailed knowledge of BPMN 2.0, wireframes, user stories and specifying requirements using multiple specification types?
* A proven ability of managing and delivering change with an organisation and are able to produce clear and concise documentation to convey the outcomes of analysis and make recommendations?
* Knowledge of the capabilities of Microsoft enterprise solutions, especially Dynamics, SharePoint and Workflow software alongside specialist knowledge of hardware and software used in most platforms including Azure Dev Ops and Visio?

What will you be doing?
Using the WWH values, you will demonstrate effective skills and behaviours to confidently be a part of the Technology and Data Directorate with a clear objective to improve the quality, availability and accessibility of information across the business.
Reporting to the Technology Portfolio Manager you will work closely with key stakeholders across the business, undertaking full evaluation and analysis in order to identify where existing constraints of process connection exist and proactively solve these challenges. You will gain an understanding of all systems and processes, where they connect and overlap, identifying areas of waste and defining new solutions to deliver real business outcomes that improve the delivery of services to our residents.
You must also be a good communicator and provide a high quality, friendly customer-orientated service.

You will work from our office based in Llanishen, Cardiff.
