Job Title: Junior Software Developer
Location: Leeds
Salary: £30,000
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Junior .NET Developer with at least one year of commercial experience to help develop and maintain our internal and customer-facing applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in C# and ASP.NET and a keen interest in working within the finance sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, test, and deploy web applications using C# and ASP.NET.
* Assist in the maintenance and improvement of existing applications.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse requirements.
* Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
* Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices.
Requirements:
* At least 1 year of commercial experience in .NET development.
* Proficiency in C# and ASP.NET.
* Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
* Experience with SQL Server and database design.
* Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Desirables:
* Experience in the finance or brokerage industry.
* Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
* Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
