Job Description:

About the Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you will ensure high-quality teaching, effective use of resources, and improved standards of learning and achievement for all students. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons in GCSE and BTEC Maths, promoting a love of learning, and supporting students in achieving their full potential.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver purposeful and productive lessons with clear differentiation for students of all abilities and backgrounds.
Employ a variety of interactive teaching methods to promote intellectual curiosity and a love of learning.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the subject and utilize a range of teaching methods in line with best practice.
Set homework and plan out-of-class activities to consolidate and extend knowledge.
Use relevant data to monitor progress, set targets, and plan subsequent lessons.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ achievements and well-being.
Develop effective professional relationships with colleagues, knowing when to draw on advice and specialist support.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a relevant subject area.
Strong current subject knowledge of the National Curriculum, particularly in Maths.
Experience in teaching GCSE and BTEC Maths.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of individual students.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
A full UK driving license is desirable.
