We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Recoveries Manager to lead and manage the Recoveries function effectively. This role involves minimizing company losses through robust management and maximizing funds recovered. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of recoveries, team performance, and strategic approaches that maximize results.
Day to Day of the Role: * Lead and manage the team to achieve department KPIs, ensuring training, development, and coaching of Recoveries Specialists.
* Monitor and enhance Recoveries strategies and processes based on trends identified through data analysis.
* Collaborate with external Collection Agencies, Tracing Agents, and Solicitors to deliver cost-effective services.
* Maintain a caseload monitoring process to ensure consistent and effective recoveries activities across the team.
* Manage higher value and complex arrears/recovery cases as required.
* Lead the Provisioning process and implement the Write Off policy with effective reporting.
* Complete controls and audits to ensure adherence to regulatory and procedural requirements.
* Create insightful reporting packs for formal Committees.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * People management skills with experience in managing a team.
* Leadership experience within a Collections and Recoveries environment.
* Understanding of legal processes concerning non-performing loans in a regulated environment.
* Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and manage third-party service providers.
