Job Description:
This role is a permanent Multiskilled Engineer role for a Lead Engineer.
The position is a shift role.
Client Details
The client is a world-wide Service Provider based at a Hospital based in South London.
Description
* To oversee hard services MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing).
* Organise the day to day operation and ensure all the technical equipment is working as designed.
* Respond to breakdowns and fault diagnosis - get kit back online.
* Deal with the technical requirements incoming from other departments.
* Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems (MEP).
* Troubleshoot and repair issues with HVAC, chiller, pumps, fire suppression systems, generators, elevators, and other critical infrastructure.
* Organise the procurement, installation, and operation of equipment necessary for the Facilities operation.
* Plan and manage preventative maintenance activities including works in-house and works by third party providers.
Profile
* Previous experience as a Facilities or Building Maintenance Engineer.
* To be a collaborative team player who is self-motivated and to motivate others to thrive in a challenging environment.
* Ability to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve tight targets and deliver results within required timescales.
* To communicate effectively, positively and respectfully with all colleagues.
