MECHANICAL PROJECT MANAGER WANTED IMMEDIATELY!
Our client is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to join their team on a 1-year Fixed Term Contract. The Mechanical Project Manager will be responsible for managing the effective and efficient delivery of the mechanical services installation, taking full responsibility for all personnel working on that contract. The Mechanical Project Manager will be able to develop strong commercial relationships to expand the offer locally.
Key Responsibilities for the Mechanical Project Manager:
* Commercial management and reporting to line managers
* Management of day-to-day project delivery on designated projects, including delivery to client requirements, safety, quality, supplier performance and improvement
* Manage and lead M7E field supervisors responsible for designated project
* Manage staff, oversee work schedules, and assign specific duties accordingly
* Communicate closely and provide timely and accurate periodical reports to the Contract Manager defining project progress, problems, and solutions
* Adhering to safety and performance standards
* To always promote a positive and professional image of the departments, by adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards
Skills Required for the Mechanical Project Manager:
* Previous experience working on healthcare project delivery from a mechanical perspective
* Have strong planning, organization, and monitoring abilities
* Strong mechanical systems background to ensure a full understanding of systems for installation on the designed project
* Previous experience of working on NEC 3-4 contracts
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* An enhanced DBS check must be passed due to the client building being visited
* A Full UK Driving License
* Work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage business expectations
* Adaptable and flexible in your approach to work
