Interim Senior Accountant | Global Real Estate | London/Remote | Outside IR35
Harmonic are delighted to be working with a global real estate giant to support their search for an Interim Senior Accountant, with an ASAP start.
The Business
Our client is a premium global real estate business that are expanding at an incredible rate. With a vast workplace portfolio and global presence, it is a really exciting time to join such a fast-paced business. They have hundreds of offices across Europe and the US, and are about to expand their office presence in Germany. With a growing development team and new Managing Director heading up the UK team, this role offers fantastic exposure across the business and strong networking potential.
Our client have several offices to work from in London, though this position offers a fully flexible working arrangement.
The Role
This US-based company has rapidly expanded into the UK and are seeking an experienced accountant to manage the transactional finance function for their team. Reporting into the Director of Accounts, you shall support month ends and review VATs. You shall also manage the Accounts Payable function and handle bank reconciliations across European offices as they go through a busy period of transition.
The Duties
* Leading bank reconciliations and managing accruals
* Supporting month end processes
* Covering Accounts Payable duties
* Supporting balance sheet reconciliations
* Reviewing VAT returns and tax codes
* Reviewing P&L and running variance analysis
* Preparing statutory reports
* Supporting the Account Director with ad-hoc tasks
What we need to see (essential)
* Part Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
* 3+ years accounting background
* Month-end exposure
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Detail orientated
* Self-starter
What we need to see (beneficial)
* Real Estate/Multisite experience
* Experience across European entities
Location: London, Zone 1 (Hybrid/Remote)
Day Rate: £240-£300
