Job Description:
A1 Personnel are currently recruiting for a Pick / Pack Team Leader to join our client’s team in Tilbury.
Responsibilities -
* To oversee daily warehouse activities (Picking, Packing, Receiving, stock management)
* Manage up to 20 staff members - including 4 Senior operatives.
* Ensure workplace is kept clean and tidy at all times.
* Work to tight deadlines to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled.
* Track performance of the pick/ pack team.
Requirements -
* Team Leader experience is required.
* Experience in a similar warehouse/ pick pack role for 2+ years.
* Stock control experience.
* Great communication skills with the team and customers.
* Good computer skills (Excel, Word, Warehouse management system).
Working Hours -
* Shifts are 6am-3pm and 10am - 7pm (rotating weekly)
* One week you would work earlies and another week would be lates plus the weekends.
* Currently the team is doing only Saturdays but in busy periods Sundays will also be required to be worked.
