Howard Finley Care are recruiting for a new Kitechen assistant to work within our client’s residential home in Westerham
Kitchen Assistant vacancy details:
* £11.44 per hour
* 36 - 40 hours per week available
* Day positions available
Kitchen assistant main duties:
* Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks to residents.
* Follow dietary guidelines and specific requirements for individual residents.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
* Ensure proper storage and labelling of food items.
* Help with food inventory and stock rotation to minimize waste.
* Adhere to all health and safety standards, including proper food handling, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
* Support the chef and other kitchen staff in various tasks as needed.
* Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
* Provide courteous and friendly service to residents and staff.
* Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
