A1 Personnel are recruiting for a Transport Planner European Full Load (Export) to join our clients freight forwarding team.
Duties:
* Work directly with our existing client base, quote and book sub-contracted haulage of full loads.
* Work with the Timocom system, plus Haulage Exchange
* Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic and safety regulations.
* Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries efficiently.
* Handle Export European Shipments End to End.
Skills:
* Proficiency in using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) for route planning and tracking shipments.
* Experience with data entry for logging deliveries and maintaining records accurately.
* Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders to optimise delivery processes.
* Experience in lead generation within the transportation industry to expand business opportunities.
* Understanding of supply chain principles to contribute to efficient logistics operations.
* This is a new venture for Miro Logistics, where business development as well as operational skill will be rewarded.
