Role Purpose: As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Purchasing team with daily procurement order processing. You will also have the opportunity to learn and engage in other aspects of the procurement function, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Efficient and accurate data entry within specified timescales.
* Raising purchase orders and chasing order confirmations and ETAs.
* Obtaining fulfillments and proof of delivery (POD).
* Raising and processing returns.
* Analyzing stock levels and ensuring optimal inventory management.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Minimum of GCSEs A-C in English & Mathematics (Essential).
* Good keyboard skills and telephone manner.
* Team player with strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure and stay organized.
* 1 year of experience in a similar role (Desirable).
