Salary: £25,000 - £28,000
Location: Birmingham City Centre
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
An exciting opportunity to join an expanding Housing Association. A client of ours is looking to expand their finance team, they require an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their Birmingham office. Needing a strong individual who can support the business retrieving aged debts.
Main responsibilities include.
* Chasing aged debts
* Mediating housing benefit claims
* Gathering documentation of claims
* Communicating with Contracted Tenants and internal members of the team
* Running regular reporting to track payments/actions which are needed.
* Maintaining and monitoring accounts.
* Resolving any Accounts Receivable related queries
* Initiate or progress legal action where need be.
Ideal Candidate:
* Someone experienced within a similar role.
* Experienced working within the Housing sector
* Experienced using an accounting software such as Sage/SAP and Excel
* Great communication skills
* Relationship building qualities.
* Attention to detail.
* Happy to work 5 days in office.
