Job Description:
Compliance, Quality Assurance, arguably a big part of the glue that holds a business together.

You’ll already know the importance of the role you play in this area and how your skills in organisation, empathy and critical thinking can guide a business.

And that’s why this new kid on the block insurance brokerage in Glasgow need your skills as they navigate a recent restructure and rapid growth.

Here you’ll be leading the compliance and QA work, reporting straight into a brilliant CFO who has already implemented huge improvements to this business since joining at the start of the year.

The pace here is fast with a steady stream of acquisitions happening in addition to a structural transformation, led by a new leadership team.

It’s an entrepreneurial culture here, a world apart from the anonymous clunky environment which some of the bigger names in the industry offer.

So, for you, it’s a brilliant opportunity to really carve your own mark on the compliance and QA function.

Your overarching remit here is to define, implement and maintain a robust compliance service within the business with file audits and checks of insurance activity.

Day to day that’s documentation review, complaint management, compliance stakeholder management, training, CPD, FCA reporting - essentially all things compliance & QA will be yours to approve.

And as the business grows much further in the next 3-5 years, you’ll naturally have scope to develop into leadership as the finance functions expands to cope.

This position is offered on a hybrid basis with 2 or 3 days required in the Glasgow offices per week.

Salary is up to £42,000 plus benefits and ideally, you’ll have a background in the commercial insurance sector from either a brokerage or commercial insurer.
