Trade Lane Development Manager

£40,000 - £45,000 Basic
Our reputable freight client is currently looking for a Trade Lane Development Manager to join their business, the role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in developing and expanding trade lanes, driving growth and profitability.
Main Responsibilities of the Trade Lane BDM
* Lead the development and growth of designated trade lane, focusing on strategic regions.
* Build and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders in key markets.
* Conduct detailed market analysis to identify growth opportunities and competitive advantages.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations.
* Ensure alignment of trade lane growth strategies with overall business objectives.
Experience and Skills required
* Extensive experience in freight forwarding with a specific focus on Trans Atlantic, ISC, or Middle East trade lanes.
* Proven sales experience in the sea freight industry.
* Strong understanding of market dynamics and requirements.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
