Job Description:
Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Plumber based within Edinburgh, EH16
The ideal candidate would have previous experience within the FM industry and have a background in Domestic and Commercial plumbing/drainage.
Available shifts / Locations below:
* Monday to Friday ( 5 Days a week)- This is a full time position
* 08:00-16:00pm
* Postcode: EH16 4SA
* £20.73 including holiday pay, however you have the option to accrue.
* Paid Weekly, Every Friday before 5 PM.
* This position is PAYE
Skills and Qualifications required:
* Must have at least 2 years previous Plumbing experience
* Must have experience within general plumbing tasks
* NVQ Level 3or equivalent is desirable
* DBS or equivalent required
* Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
* Able to manage time effectively.
* Ability to work both alone and in a team.
* Awareness of health and safety procedures
* A good standard of Secondary Education, including Maths and English
* Approved and formal apprenticeship served in Plumbing/Mechanical skill area required or relevant and practical experience within a similar industry
Duties and experience required:
* To be able to carry out Maintenance and response to Reactive Calls
* Have a good understanding of mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems is essential
* To be responsible for routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
* To be able to operate equipment, maintain records, respond to emergencies, ensure safety compliance, collaborate with colleagues, and may receive training
* To complete high quality repair and maintenance works and deliver high levels of customer service on a daily basis.
* Complete Plumbing and multi skilled works to complete the job in one visit when applicable.
* Good working knowledge of the requirements of Scottish Health Technical Memoranda would be advantageous.
* Knowledge of TMV’s and Legionella Control preferred.
