Job Description:
Join a fast growing Financial Services Team as a QA Technician in Liverpool!
We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA Technician to join our client’s growing Financial Services team located in the vibrant city of Liverpool. The successful candidate will have exceptional attention to detail with a wealth of experience within the Quality Assurance sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- QA support activities working in developer workstreams
- Writing / performing QA tests
- Logging onto database’s to Track through end to end
- Conduct quality control testing on products and services.
- Develop test plans for new or updated software applications.
- Identify issues, bugs, and defects that may arise during product development cycle
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, project manage
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess :
- A strong understanding of how Developers bring systems to life
- Quality assurance / Software Testing certification from reputable organization like ISTQB etc
- Degree level qualification preferably Computer Science/IT related field
- Strong manual experience, as this will out weigh the automation element of the role
Skills Required:
To be considered for this role you must demonstrate proficiency/experience in:
-Automated Testing
- Functional Testing & Smoke Testing
-SQL Querying skills
-API/Microservices/Web Services based application(s) exposure
Salary Offered - £40,000- 45,000 per annum (Depending on experience)
