Job Description:
Ryder Reid Legal is looking for an Events Specialist to join one of our prestigious US law firm clients on a permanent basis, the Events Specialist will play a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s business development efforts. Expertise in event planning will be instrumental in executing high-impact client-facing and internal events that drive engagement and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Event Planning: Collaborate with the business development team to conceptualize innovative events that foster client relationships.
* Logistics Management: Oversee all event logistics, ensuring seamless coordination with vendors, stakeholders, and attendees.
* Budget and Timeline Oversight: Develop and manage event-specific budgets and timelines, adhering to financial and scheduling constraints.
* Venue and Vendor Coordination: Conduct research and secure venues and vendors, negotiating contracts to align with the firm’s strategic goals.
* Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates on event progress, maintaining transparency with internal teams.
* On-Site Execution: Manage events on-site, ensuring all elements align with the firm’s high standards and objectives.
* Post-Event Analysis: Handle post-event responsibilities, including cost reporting and follow-up communications.
Essential Skills:
* Proven expertise in contract negotiations and event management.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with legal concepts.
* Exceptional project management skills, with a track record of successful event execution.
* Excellent communication abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
* Minimum of 5 years in event planning, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
