Job Title: Asbestos Consultant / Auditor

We are recruiting for a knowledgeable Asbestos Consultant / Auditor, to join a forward-thinking, successful UKAS accredited consultancy. The role offers a varied mix of duties across Surveying, Analytical and Auditing, so this would be a fantastic opportunity for candidates who desire a role with more diversity day-to-day. Ideal locations for candidates to be based would be: Dartford, Gravesend, Basildon, Gillingham, Chatham, Croydon, Maidstone, Tonbridge, Epsom, Reigate, Brentwood, Wickford, Kingston-Upon-Thames, Crawley, Horsham, Haslemere, Swanley, Erith, Purfleet-on-Thames, Rainham, Dagenham, Bexley, Bromley, Orpington and Godstone.

Experience / Qualifications:
- P402, P403, P404 BOHS (or RSPH equivalent) is essential
- Experience working as an asbestos surveyor, asbestos analyst and undertaking auditing tasks
- Able to complete quality assurance and equipment checks
- Auditing on technical staff
- Experience managing / training other asbestos surveyors and analysts
- Strong industry guideline knowledge
- Excellent written and spoken ability

The Role:
- Undertaking Asbestos Management, Demolition and Refurbishment surveys across a mix of sites
- 4 Stage Clearances, Leak, Background, Reassurances, Re-Occupation, Personal and Leak air monitoring
- Conducting routine site visits and audits
- Quality assurance and equipment checks
- Completing audits on technical staff
- Assisting in maintaining UKAS Accreditation
- Writing comprehensive reports and completing company paperwork
- Overseeing contractors on-site, ensuring compliance with industry Health & Safety legislation on projects
