Job Description:
Ryder Reid Legal is seeking a Business Development Manager to join one of our prestigious law firm client’s on a twelve month contract and spearhead new business opportunities. This role is ideal for a collaborative, analytical individual with exceptional attention to detail and superior time management skills. As a central contact for focused sectors, the BD Manager will enjoy significant autonomy and responsibility, engaging with the full Business Development mix.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement marketing and BD plans and budgets for multiple departments.
* Lead regular business development meetings, fostering innovation and future planning.
* Collaborate with marketing and legal teams to identify opportunities and enhance brand reputation.
* Drive growth through new strategies and support firm-wide initiatives.
* Manage department-specific events, thought leadership campaigns, and marketing efforts.
* Develop bids, pitches, and submissions, tracking new business opportunities and targets.
* Conduct comprehensive market research, providing valuable insights.
* Facilitate cross-selling and client sharing, leveraging groupwide opportunities.
* Supervise and mentor junior staff, promoting professional development.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in Marketing and BD, preferably in professional services.
* Knowledge of Real Estate and/or Housing Sectors is advantageous.
* Consistent high-standard work output with meticulous attention to detail.
* Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
* A flexible, team-oriented approach with outstanding communication abilities.
* A drive to excel in a professional services environment.
