Job Description:
RG Consultancy are working with and recruiting for a very well established business in Alderley Edge who are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their finance team. This role is a fantastic opportunity, opened up due to an internal promotion within the business. You will support the Purchase Ledger and Subcontractor duties, working alongside a small team, reporting to the Finance Manager.

The Role
* Managing the Purchase ledger function in the accounts department
* Handling and processing purchase invoices
* Coding and posting all invoices and credit notes
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Weekly payment runs
* Dealing with subcontractor ledger and CIS
* Able to identify issues/discrepancies and ensure resolved efficiently
* Managing the accounts inbox and other administrative duties to assist the Finance Manager
The Person
* At least 2 years experience within a purchase ledger or similar role
* An AAT qualification would be an advantage but not essential
* Experience with CIS would be an advantage
* Good communication and IT skills
