THE COMPANY
This company is a large challenger bank who are continuing to grow. As a specialist lender, this bank has a clear focus and mission and is seeking a driven individual to join the team. This role offers an opportunity to work across a wide range of models with significant variation in your work in addition to the opportunity to line manage and coach a more junior analyst.
THE ROLE
* Work centrally on IFRS9 models including implementation, testing and wider model analysis
* Analysing key drivers of ECL and wider IFRS9 provisioning
* Working closely with the model development and validation team to enhance model efficiency and accuracy
* Challenging assumptions on these models and undertaking quantitative analysis on these
* Wider model reporting and ad hoc analysis across multiple product portfolios
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Good knowledge and experience in SAS is essential
* Strong understanding of IFRS9 models and experience in model implementation, analysis or wider monitoring
* Knowledge of statistical modelling techniques and strong data analysis skills
* Educated to at least degree level, in a numerate discipline

* Up to £75,000 base salary
