Are you an experienced and ambitious Accounts Payable professional seeking a new opportunity within a global organisation?
We have partnered with a highly successful, international logistics firm based in Chelmsford who are seeking to recruit an Accounts Payable Clerk on a temporary-to-permanent basis to join their Global Accounts Payable department.
You will be reporting into the Senior Management Accountant carrying out a wide range of responsibilities including multi-currency payments, high volume invoice processing, supplier statement reconciliations, month-end reports etc.
The role is paying a salary up to £29,000, as well as hybrid working, study support, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, private healthcare, competitive bonuses, a clear route for progression and more!
Responsibilities:
* Building good relationships with key suppliers.
* Maintaining good supplier records and updating payment terms.
* Supplier statement reconciliations.
* High volume invoice processing across various currencies.
* Reconciling foreign currency supplier accounts.
* Regularly running Accounts Payable reports, raising issues where necessary.
* Resolving internal and external queries relating to purchase ledger.
* Ad-hoc duties for Management Accountant where required.
Requirements:
* Previous experience within Accounts Payable.
* Multi-currency payments exposure (MUST).
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Intermediate Excel skills.
* AAT qualification/part qualification (ideal).
