Our client based in Gloucester is seeking a QA Test Engineer to join the team carrying out QA testing on digital services. Working closely with a Senior QA Test Analyst this is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to move from manual testing to automation.
  
What will you be doing?
  
* Test execution and management for Digital Programme deliveries
* Defect Management
* Ensure Acceptance criteria on user stories covers depth/breadth of Requirements
* Provide effective reporting on test execution status
* Work with product owners, development team, and other key stakeholders across business to accelerate delivery and ensure QA focus throughout product delivery cycle
* Attend stand ups, sprint ceremonies and communicate progress.
* You will implement QA best practice techniques for the team working alongside our Senior QA Test analyst.
* You will be responsible for the management (including effective reporting) and execution of the test plans.
  
What experience do you need?
  
* Test execution, management and reporting against plan
* Ability to work cross-discipline and communicate problems with non technical stakeholders
* Testing and evaluating new and existing programs to identify and help remove bugs, glitches and other user experience issues;
* Worked in an agile environment with experience of regression testing desired Working knowledge of Jira and awareness of Automation testing processes/tools ie REST API testing.
* Previous experience working on web / mobile application testing

This role is based in Gloucester and is commutable from Cheltenham, Cirencester, Swindon, Bristol, Worcester, Hereford, Stratford-upon-Avon and Birmingham.
