Job Description:
I am delighted to be working with a rapidly expanding company in East Leeds, who are keen to appoint a Credit Controller in a newly created role. Working as part of an existing team, this is a key role in a growing division taking responsibility for your own section of the ledger.
Responsibilities will include:
* Cash allocation - posting of cash to customer accounts
* Reporting - preparing the debtors report on a weekly basis and providing reasons for each overdue balance to the senior management team
* Chasing of overdue debts - maintain the debtors ledger to reduce the amount of debt overdue
* Processing of invoices - assisting with the raising and processing of sales invoices.
Role will suit:
* An experienced credit controller, with an empathetic approach
* Good excel skills
* Excellent customer service skills
* Able to communicate effectively over the phone
* Self-motivated and able to work well in a team
* Have a keen eye for detail and good organisation skills
