Interim Financial Accountant
Watford - 2 days office based, 3 remote
£250 - £300 per day

The Interim Financial Accountant will be reporting into the Financial Controller within the Finance department. Responsible for assisting in the accounting, financial management and administration of fixed assets.
The candidate will also be responsible for the Companies Payroll and will need to provide support to different areas within finance when required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Month-end Fixed Asset reporting
* Production of the FAR, Additions and Disposals reports
* Fixed Asset Analysis and reporting
* Balance Sheet reconciliations
* Year-end statutory reporting for the Fixed Assets
* Assisting in the Year-end company audit and quarterly bank audits.
* Cashflow forecasting and payments
* Manage several inboxes
* Raising customer insurance invoices
* Raising Purchase Orders
* Adjusting Fleet statuses within the operating system
* Assisting with the DVLA account and weekly reconciliation
* Reconciling the Fleet tracking and insurance systems weekly
Payroll:
* Processing the monthly payroll, working with HR and the external payroll provider
* Producing the P11D’s and P60’s
* Dealing with HMRC for PAYE and processing the monthly payment
Ideal Candidate:
* Part Qualified Accountant studying towards an Accounting Qualification such as ACCA or CIMA, QBE or newly qual.
* Higher education at either A-Level or Degree Level, preferably within a financial or business context
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Advanced Excel skills
