Job Description:
Finance Manager || Leeds || Term-time +15 days, permanent || £30,296 - £33,024 (FTE)
Ashley Kate are thrilled to be working with an education provider based in Leeds on a Finance Manager role paying upto £33,024 (FTE)! This is a full-time, permanent and site-based Finance Manager role working within a primary school during term time +15 days, adding up to 41 weeks. This role will report into the core finance team for the Trust and is directly responsible for a Finance Assistant. As the Finance Manager, you will support the Head of Academy through the provision of financial support and information. You will also ensure the academy’s financial management is sound and procedures are adhered to with relevant reports submitted to the core finance department in a timely manner.
As this is a role within an educational setting, you will be subject to a DBS check.
Responsibilities:
* Producing monthly management accounts
* Monthly variance analysis
* Developing 5 year forecasts
* Overseeing payroll and handling any queries
* Manage the school finance team
* Manage the daily Petty Cash account, issuing cheques and handling cash
* Organise school trips and handle bursaries
About you:
* AAT qualified
* Previous experience within a secondary education setting (desirable)
* Previous line management experience
* Strong understanding of accountancy software (ideally SAGE and iTrent)
* GCSE Grade C-A*/4-9 in Maths and English
