Due to continued growth NJR Recruitment are working with a well-established Distributor supplying the retail industry who are now seeking an enthusiastic Shipping & Logistics Administrator r to join their team in North Manchester.
Duties include:
* Management and maintenance of supplier critical path
* Liaising with Far East, European and US suppliers
* Reviewing shipment documents in line with timescales - cross checking all information with system for submitting too accounts
* Understanding of commodity codes and classification of goods
* Knowledge of FOB and DDP shipments, international customer documentation requirements and customer portals
* Ensuring Supplier have all information queried for customer specific orders and that all customer requirements are adhered too and approved by the customer
* Costing of airfreight and LCL shipments as and when required
* Consolidating shipment of orders from various supplier to maximise shipments fills and costings
* Understanding of customer forecast intakes and sell through would be a advantage
* Other duties as required
Requirements:
* Knowledge of shipping documents or requirements pre country of export
* Strong time admin and time management skills
* Excellent communication skills - cross departmental
* Computer literate with Strong Excel skills VLOOKUP; formulas
* Attention to detail
* Must be proactive, able to use initiative.
