A leading organisation is seeking a Part-Qualified Finance Analyst (ACCA/ACA) to strengthen the financial structure within its operations. This vital role encompasses providing comprehensive financial support, performing in-depth analysis, and ensuring the integrity of financial records. The successful candidate will collaborate with the business division and accounting teams to maintain global accounting standards and ensure compliance with financial controls.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee the financial closing process for each period, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Analyse financial data to identify trends and discrepancies, providing actionable insights.
* Maintain financial procedures that support the business framework.
* Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and manage financial risks and opportunities.
* Prepare and evaluate financial documents and reports, maintaining a regular schedule.
* Initiate process improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting.
* Partner with financial planning and analysis teams to assess financial performance.
Professional Specifications:
* Currently part-qualified in ACCA or ACA, actively pursuing completion.
* Experienced in management reporting and adept at conducting month-end closures.
* Reporting experience under UK and US GAAP standards.
* Background in accounting within a multinational or publicly traded company is advantageous.
* Independent, proactive, and committed to process enhancement.
* Proficient with financial software tools and applications.
* Adaptable to fast-paced environments and evolving business needs.
* Proven ability to build trust and foster professional relationships.
