Job Description:
Learning and Development Advisor | Permanent | Nottingham - On site) | Up to £35,000

Following the new appointment of a passionate and committed CPO within an expanding Education Trust (made up of Primary and Secondary schools), we are supporting them in building out their HR team with like-minded, hard working HR professionals who care deeply about supporting the teams that deliver the best services possible to the children within their schools.  We are looking to recruit an experienced Learning and Development Advisor.  Reporting in to the Learning & Organisational Development Business Partner, you will support them in building and delivering career development pathways for all none teaching staff.

The successful individual will be passionate about designing, delivering, and evaluating impactful learning and organisational development interventions.  There really is an opportunity to be creative and in this role you will play a key role in shaping the learning culture and supporting the growth of your colleagues at the Trust?

What you will be doing:

This is a fabulous time to join the trust because you’ll get to contribute to the creation of the people strategy and be part of shaping and designing future services, helping to ensure that every employee experiences the sort of magic that they endeavour to create for all of the children, students and learners that they serve.

In this role you’ll be honing your data analysis, facilitation and coaching skills to truly understand what is needed to enable colleagues to do their best work and to align the appropriate interventions.

Your primary focus will be on supporting career development pathways aligning the relevant learning and development opportunities including professional qualifications. As part of this you’ll be supporting with the management and delivery of the apprentices/apprenticeships provision.

They want colleagues to feel a sense of belonging with the trust from the moment they accept a role and especially in their first few months. With that you will be ensuring that the Welcome Induction is set up and delivered to support this.

You will be supported to gain an understanding of the structure and roles that people perform so that you can help them to learn, grow and contribute to the success of the Trust.

What we are looking for:

To succeed in this role and take the Learning provision to the next level, we are looking for experience in a similar role - if you have done this within education great, but please don’t let that put you off in applying if you haven’t.

We are looking for that passion and energy you have when you truly love and believe in what you do.

Experience of managing and utilising the apprenticeship levy would be hugely desirable.

Being able to run skills and training gap analysis and report back.

Experience of planning and delivering learning and development sessions in both face to face an virtual events.

And if you also had your CIPD Level 5 that would be the cherry on the top.

There will be a Trust-wide remit in this role so travel to the academies and schools across Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, Derby and Derbyshire will be required - so driving would be favoured.

This really is a rewarding role and we are expecting lots of interest, so apply today to avoid disappointment.
