Gleeson Recruitment Group are currently supporting a market leading business in the West Midlands to recruit a Commercial Finance Manager on an initial 12 month contract with the potential of a permanent role in the future. My client operate a full hybrid model with an average of one day per week in the office (you are welcome do more if preferred)
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the Commercial operations through project-focused initiatives, providing strategic financial insights, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct investment appraisals and provide thorough financial analysis to support new and existing business contract renewals.
* Prepare and present data-driven strategic recommendations to senior management and the board of directors.
* Transform financial data into comprehensive and clear reports.
* Collaborate with non-finance departments to provide financial guidance and support for commercial initiatives.
* Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
* Analyse market trends, competitor and market information, and business performance to identify growth opportunities.
* Support guide on other strategic financial projects.
Qualifications and Experience
* The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA OR ACA)
* strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in financial modelling and investment appraisal.
* Excellent data manipulation skills and the ability to transform data into clear, actionable insights.
* Strong personality with gravitas, capable of leading and making an impact in high-level discussions.
