Job Description:
You will work for a global professional services company, committed to transforming performance for a green, inclusive, and productive world. You will work as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within their expanding infrastructure team. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a critical role in delivering world-class infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead cost management activities on major infrastructure projects, ensuring accurate cost planning, control, and reporting.
* Develop and maintain detailed cost models and forecasts to support project decision-making.
* Provide strategic cost advice to clients, identifying and managing cost risks and opportunities.
* Prepare detailed cost estimates and participate in procurement processes.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including project managers, engineers, and architects, to deliver integrated project solutions.
* Mentor and develop junior cost managers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
The ideal candidate will have the below:
* Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
* Professional accreditation (e.g., MRICS, AACE, CCP) is highly desirable.
* Extensive experience in cost management within the infrastructure sector, including transportation, utilities, and public sector projects.
* Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and manage large data sets.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
* Proficiency in cost management software and tools.
