Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and organised part time Onboarding Administrator to join our admin team based in our Contact Centre in Dunstable. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the onboarding process for new starters, coordinating the offboarding of leavers, maintaining staff rotas, and overseeing the leave planning system. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth transition for new employees and maintaining efficient workforce planning.

This role is on a Part Time basis 25 - 30 hours and can be scheduled to accommodate school hours or spread over 3/4 days.

What you’ll do:
* Coordinate all aspects of the onboarding process, including preparation of offer letters, contracts, and welcome packs.
* Ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed and filed in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
* Liaise with IT and Facilities teams to set up workstations, equipment, and access to systems for new hires.
* Manage the offboarding process for departing employees.
* Develop, update, and manage staff rotas, ensuring adequate coverage across all shifts and departments.
* Oversee the leave planning system, ensuring accurate recording, and tracking of annual leave, sick leave, and other forms of absence.
* Manage leave requests, approvals, and adjustments in coordination with department managers

Required skills, knowledge and experience:
* Previous experience in an HR or administrative role, particularly in onboarding and offboarding processes.
* Be able to work to challenging targets and deadlines and to deliver when under pressure
* Understand the important service level agreements
* Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
* You will need to be IT literate with good knowledge of, and the ability to effectively and computerised systems such as Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
* Adopt a flexible working approach and a ’can do’ attitude
* Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
