A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Finance Manager to join a large successful company based in High Wycombe. This role offers excellent progression opportunities and hybrid working options.
Responsibilities:
* Lead, manage, and develop a team of 3 Senior Finance Analysts
* Develop a commercial partner relationship with middle and senior operational management, providing key metrics and analysis as a foundation for sound commercial decision making
* Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analyses, to meet reporting deadlines and provide useful feedback/explanations of financial performance
* Present monthly results to divisional business partners and other senior stakeholders including Operational teams to enable understanding of profitability
* Manage and control monthly CAPEX reporting and prepare forecast updates to ensure adherence to budget.
* Preparation of budgets, forecasts and five year plans to enable the business to meet planning deadlines with accurate
* Oversee balance sheet reconciliations to ensure controls are in place and being adhered to
* Improve business processes and systems whilst translating and simplifying high volume data into highly relevant management Information and proactively seek and recommend profit improvement suggestions for the business unit
Requirements:
* Qualified accountant ACA / ACCA / CIMA
* Experience of supporting and influencing operational colleagues
* Management accounting experience gained in the service, logistics or manufacturing an advantage
* Experience of managing and developing a small team
* Strong system skills including advanced Excel and some Power BI
