3-6 MONTH CONTRACT WITH POTENTIAL PERM
Our client, are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Accountant to join their fast paced organisation on a fixed term contract basis. In his project role you will work with key internal stakeholders to assess and understand current process and make recommendations for change.
THE BRIEF
This is a pivotal role mapping the end to end processes around capital programmes and making recommendations for change and efficiencies in process. Working with key stakeholders to define and agree on effective output reports.
WHAT YOU NEED
To be considered for the role of Project Accountant, you will need:
* Must be fully ACCA or CIMA qualified
* Previous experience with mapping end to end financial processes in a large, complex organisation
* Previous experience of working within built environment with exposure to capital programmes
* Robust knowledge of accounting regulations, legislation and current practice
* Proven experience of undertaking statutory and management accounting
* Proven experience in the use of financial systems, data interrogation, analysis and insight
* Knowledge of SAP is highly desirable
* Proven experience in producing performance reports and management information including making recommendations for changes needed
* Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads
* Robust experience of analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions
* Ability to establish, integrate and maintain working financial models in order to provide alternative scenarios to existing data sets
