Description
* Assist in preparing financial reports and statements
* Ensure receipts and payments are coded and posted to the correct ledgers
* Processing transactions and reconcilling accounts
* Support the accounting department in day-to-day operations
* Work closely with the finance team to ensure accuracy of financial data
* Process invoices, expenses and payments
* Follow up on outstanding debts
* Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the team’s objectives
Profile
A successful Entry Level Finance Assistant should have:
* A strong interest in finance and accounting
* Finance and Accounting Graduates are preferred but not essential
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills
* Good attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
* Competent IT skills, particularly with spreadsheets
Job Offer
* A salary in the region of £21,000 to £23,000 per annum
