A1 Personnel are currently recruiting for a Store Assistant for one of our clients based in Romford area.
Location: Romford, Essex
Shift Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:00, Friday 08:30 - 14:00
Starting Salary: £11.44 per hour
Temporary to Permanent role
Job Requirements
* Work alongside the current Stores Manager to assist with the current workload.
* Manage work card orders
* Load delivery vehicles
* Pack warehouse orders as necessary
* Operates scanners so that the proper order is picked and inventory is managed accurately
* Maintains a high level of health and safety standard
* Ensures that orders are accurate
* Performs other general warehouse duties as needed
* Forklift Training will be provided for the right candidate
Ideal Candidate
* Previous warehouse experience preferable
* Enthusiastic, highly motivated individual with a desire to learn
* Ability to work under own direction and monitor own workload
* Ability to diligently follow work procedures and practices
* Numerate and Literate
* Computer literate
* Counterbalance forklift licence beneficial not not essential
* Enthusiastic with a positive can-do attitude and willingness to challenge the status quo
* Attention to detail with a willingness to learn and good numeric skills
* Ability to multitask and work to KPIs
