Job Description:
Bennett and Game are currnelt looking for a Graduate Engineer with relevant structural experience to join a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy practice in Essex. This role offers the chance to work on a wide variety of projects across multiple sectors, collaborating closely with Senior Engineers and CAD Technicians.
As a Graduate Engineer, you will undertake structural inspections, prepare calculations and details, design structural elements, attend project meetings, and write reports. This diverse role provides excellent opportunities to work towards incorporated or chartered membership of the ICE or IStructE, with mentoring and support from Senior Engineers and Directors.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
* BEng/MEng in Civil/Structural Engineering
* 1-2 years of industry-specific work experience
* Proficiency in design using Eurocodes and British Standards
* Ability to work as part of a team on multiple projects
* Experience meeting deadlines and working within budgets on large-scale projects
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with colleagues, clients, and other design team members
* Ability to direct CAD Technicians to produce necessary design information
* AutoCAD experience
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in structural design of reinforced concrete, steelwork, timber, and masonry
* Progress towards Chartered Engineer status
* A full UK driving licence and access to personal transport
