Are you an experienced Fuel Sales Executive, looking for a new and exciting opportunity?
Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Permanent Specialist Fuel Sales Executive, for a client based in Bedford. As a Specialist Fuel Sales Executive, you’ll have the opportunity to maximise sales potential and elevate customer experiences through consultative selling, dynamic account management, and promoting innovative alternative fuels.
Specialist Fuel Sales Executive Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Uncover and develop new business opportunities for specialist fuels, including HVO, GTL, Ultra 35, Marine Gas Oil, and Fame Free Gas Oil.
* Transform existing customers into loyal HVO customers.
* Visit potential customers and showcase the compelling benefits of alternative fuels, including ESG & TCO.
* Represent the company at trade shows, promoting their cutting-edge offerings and to gain market intelligence.
* Play a vital role in managing and expanding the wholesale portfolio.
* Handle incoming and outgoing calls with existing, lapsed, and prospective customers, creating exciting sales opportunities.
* Address customer queries with promptness and professionalism.
* Log all quotes and process orders efficiently to exceed service and delivery expectations.
* Coordinate with Credit and Transport departments to ensure smooth and timely order processing and delivery.
* Collaborate with suppliers to discover new supply opportunities.
* Manage margins through continuous review of market conditions and competitive landscape.
* Anticipate market needs and propose alternative solutions when necessary.
* Provide and coordinate support for proposal preparations and contract negotiations for complex transactions.
* Consistently achieve or surpass individual pathway targets.
* Maximise productivity and earning potential.
Key performance metrics include:
* Fuel sold (Volume)
* Gross Profit Margin (Contribution)
* Pence per Litre made (PPL)
* Buying accounts

Working Hours:
* Winter: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:30
* Summer: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:10
This role is primarily office-based (Monday - Friday) however, hybrid or home working options are available for the right candidate.
