Job Description:
Are you ready to join a leading global insurer and make a significant impact in risk management?

Our Exposure Management team is crucial in evaluating, advising, and reporting on business risks. In this dynamic environment, we leverage advanced modelling and analytics alongside expertise in natural and man-made hazards to drive essential business decisions. Your work will be instrumental in setting prices, meeting capital requirements, and defining risk appetites within property lines.

As part of the Insurance Catastrophe Modelling team, you will focus on property lines, using exposure management systems and catastrophe models to provide in-depth analysis of catastrophe risks for direct insurance classes.

Your role involves conducting exposure capture and modelling of pricing and portfolio risks, offering peer reviews, and driving analysis for quarterly roll-ups and reporting. You’ll collaborate closely with underwriters and other stakeholders, enhancing decision-making processes and contributing to our goals of profitability and customer satisfaction.

This is an excellent opportunity to tackle challenging problems while advancing your knowledge and career in a supportive, collaborative team environment.

To excel in this role, you should have extensive experience in catastrophe modelling, particularly with RMS RiskLink. Proficiency in SQL, R, or Python, and experience with PowerBI are highly desirable.

Strong analytical skills, a good understanding of insurance terms, and the ability to communicate complex modelling concepts to non-modellers are essential.

We offer a competitive salary, performance-related bonus, extensive learning opportunities, and a supportive work environment. Join us and be part of a market-leading analytics team in the heart of London’s insurance district.
