Job: Purchasing Specialist -FTC (12 months )
Location:  East Hertfordshire district
Salary:  Up to £33k DOE
Hours:  8.00am - 4pm Monday to Friday (Hybrid and Part time options available )
Summary:
As a crucial member of the Purchasing team, you will report directly to the Purchasing Manager. Your main responsibility will be to work closely with planning to make sure that orders are being acknowledged and deliveries are made on time. You will also be responsible for managing contracts and pricing in SAP.
Accountabilities
Use reporting functionality of SAP and Excel
SAP data management  
Undertake various price tracker related tasks which may include:
Helping with planning and orders.
Creating projects in the system.
Support with benchmarking and tender processes 
Experience, Attributes & Skills sought :
Possess a good understanding of Microsoft Office. In particular advanced use of ExcelPossess excellent communication skills as this role involves liaising with all other departments throughout the company.
Excellent organisational and attention to detail skills
Purchase Ledger experience essential (min 2 years )
