Job Description:
FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY FOR A LEGAL SECRETARY IN THE HEART OF CARDIFF!
ROLE: Legal Secretary
WHERE: Cardiff
WHEN: Monday - Friday / 09:00 - 17:00 / 2 days in office
SALARY: £26,000 per annum
JOB DUTIES:
* Be the first point of contact for clients, dealing with them efficiently and appropriately
* Build a working knowledge of the legal area of expertise of allocated Partners and Associates
* Ensure sensitivity and confidentiality when dealing with clients, colleagues and private matters
* Coordinate billing/credit control and accounting matters relating to clients of allocated Partners and Associates
* Arranging and carrying out monthly billing meetings
* Preparing payment request forms when disbursements are received by external or internal suppliers
* Maintain allocated Partners and Associates diaries by liaising with them on a regular basis
* Schedule internal and external meetings as required
* Assist (when required) with marketing activities and the preparation for seminars and other events
* Assist with the preparation of client correspondence and documents as required
* Build a sufficient knowledge of files and matters to be able to support allocated Partners and Associates
* Assist with workload of secretarial colleagues as required.
* Any other duties as required in line with the level or the role.
WHATS NEEDED:
* Previous admin experience is essential
* Experience within Legal or Professional Services is required
* Amazing communication skills
* Great IT skills with full knowledge of MS Packages
* Team player
* Able to juggle a heavy workload effectively
* Confident, friendly, and professional manner with a spirit of co-operation and a positive and proactive ’can do’ attitude
