Role: Analytics Engineer
Location: Manchester
Remote: in office 1 day a month
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 (dependent on experience)
Insight into the Company:
This organisation is a sustainable grocer’s company who are looking to implement technologies in their growing business model! As an Analytics Engineer on their team, you will work in a team to design, scale and build data models for analytics and more.
The ideal candidate will be a team-player, working in a team of 5, working with and supporting different data workstreams. You will have strong communication skills to work within the team and also with stakeholders. The role will involve improving existing models to ensure they are efficient and scaled.
Role and Responsibilities:
* You will ingest and transform data in snowflake using DBT
* You will improve data governance, in addition to restructuring data products for various metrics such as growth reporting
* You will work to sustain and implement existing ELT pipelines
Skills and Experience:
* Essential to have 4+ years experience in: * SQL
* Python
* DBT
* Cloud techs such as Snowflake, BigQuery or Databricks

* Desirable to have experience with: * Experience in a start-up environment
* ML Models
* Snowflake as a data warehouse
* DBT for data transformation

Interview Process:
* There are two stages to the process:
* A 30 minute discussion about experience
* A technical interview with the Data Director and Analytics Engineer
* 1 hour interview with CEO and Director, most likely in person in Manchester office, about your ways of working
