Job Description:
Senior Credit Controller
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £30,000 per annum
About the Role: Synergy Plus Recruitment is delighted to be supporting one of our prestigious clients based in Milton Keynes in their search for a Senior Credit Controller. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join a dynamic team and contribute to the financial stability and growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing the credit control process to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices
* Reducing debtor days and improving cash flow
* Handling complex accounts and resolving any disputes or issues promptly
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
* Preparing regular reports on debtor balances, collections, and credit risk analysis
* Implementing and maintaining effective credit control procedures and policies
* Supporting the finance team with month-end and year-end processes
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Credit Controller, preferably in a senior role
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex accounts
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
* Experience in a similar industry is a plus
