Description
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies
* Identifying contacting and pitching prospective partners through a range of BD activities including networking, local canvassing and cold-calling.
* Negotiate and close agreements with large customers
* Monitor and analyse performance metrics
* Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
* Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs
Profile
A successful Business Development Manager should have:
* Sales and/or B2B business development experience in a fast-growing, dynamic business
* Self-starter used to self-generating interest and focusing relentlessly on delivering results.
* Demonstrable track record of sourcing & delivering, at pace, multiple deals of a meaningful scale
* Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
* An ability to understand and analyse sales performance metrics
* Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills
* Be located in the South-West region, with the ability to meet clients in the region
