Team Profile - Stock Loan Transformation

The Stock Loan Transformation team specifically delivers strategic change for across the Stock Loan operational function. The team collaborates with stakeholders and apply first-class project management techniques with a spirit of continual improvement. The team delivers change to enable and protect business revenue, comply with all applicable laws and regulations, realize cost savings through efficiency and renovation and reduce risk to the franchise. The teams focus on business requirements, process design and optimization, user acceptance testing, and implementation and post implementation risk mitigation and management.

The Stock Loan product is the practice whereby securities are transferred temporarily from one party (lender) to another (borrower) for a fee. The borrower is required to return them either on demand or at the end of any agreement. The borrower will provide the lender with collateral for the period of the loan. The motivations to participate in Stock Lending include:
• To cover strategically traded short-positions
• To cover deliveries which arise as a consequence of failed settlement

What will you be doing?

You will be part of a team whose responsibilities include:
-Liaising with the team that runs the day-to-day Stock Loan operations on process improvement and answering ad hoc queries.
-Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Must be able to articulate the right level of detail based on the audience, concisely explain complex issues and possess strong written and oral executive-level communications skills
-Coordinating technology changes between the global operations and the technology developers
-Develop strong relationships with IT colleagues to design, develop and implement technology platforms to deliver solutions to these business requirements.
-Working with Legal and Compliance to support new margin rules and regulations.
-Track and review team projects and help to assess risk and next steps
-Contribute to global management discussions for daily updates and future plans for the team.
-Own the assigned projects or streams, initiate and coordinate the necessary changes until timely resolution.
-Provide regular project status updates to the stakeholders and the senior change management, identify and escalate project risks.
-Collect, assess and document business requirements, complete the necessary analysis of product data, recommend implementation priorities and advise clients on solution alternatives, benefits and costs.
-Coordinate sign off on requirements.
