Role introduction/ overview

The Strategic Ledger Program includes standardizing and reducing risk across current Financial Books & Records processes and establishing the next iteration of ledger strategy to adopt and implement global standard SaaS/Cloud based accounting and ledger platforms. The outcome will be a robust global process, governance, and controls to ensure consistent and materially accurate, complete and timely ledger data and results. The Organisational Change Management Analyst will play a key role and sit within the Business Readiness Team.
Business Team overview


The Implementation Team within the Strategic Ledger Program plays a pivotal part in ensuring a seamless migration from the legacy to strategic platform (Oracle SaaS). This includes all areas of Business Readiness and Deployment, including (but not limited to) Stakeholder Mapping, Stakeholder Management, Training, Communications, UAT, Cutover, Go Live and Hypercare. The team is planning for the first implementation in early Q2 2025, with multiple future releases planned for the 7-10 year Program.

Some of the key responsibilities in the role
* Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify key changes to processes, task owners and controls.
* Develop change impact assessments to identify required change and training requirements.
* Own the development build out change collateral, including communications and training, to support adoption of new ways of working for end users.
* In some instances, become a subject matter expert within specific elements of the Oracle solution to ensure upskilling and reducing resistance to adoption.
* Coordinate engagement sessions, maintaining a positive and inclusive environment, and adapting delivery methods to accommodate different adoption styles and participant needs.
* Leading on the analysis and scoping of people-focused change management for future releases.
* Evaluate the effectiveness of change implementation solutions through assessments, feedback surveys, and other evaluation methods, and make necessary improvements to enhance change intervention outcomes.
* Maintain administrative requirements to track adoption readiness, which may include issue tracking, training records and reports, tracking participation, effectiveness, and impact on employee performance.

This is a high-profile role within Citi’s primary Finance transformation Program, with the Implementation team moving from release to release (and region to region) working with new sets of stakeholders across the world. The role offers a global scope, allowing the candidate to quickly understand and navigate around Citi. The candidate will be expected to liaise and interact with a large number of groups including (but not limited to) Controllers, Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Operations, Technology, Risk, Audit and Regional Management and experience working in a fast-paced firmwide Program.

What knowledge, skills and experience we’ll need from you


Ideal candidates would have an in-depth knowledge of multi-year transformation programs, with experience of complex system migrations a plus. Ideal experience would be gained through extensive experience in a Controller, Finance Transformation or technology role at Citi or a similar institution. The expected candidate will provide both strategic and operational thought leadership and should have the ability to lead and influence a wide number of stakeholders, virtual and matrix teams at VP (Vice President), SVP (Senior Vice President) and Director level.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, team oriented, and a proactive problem solver. They will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to synthesize and communicate complex information in a clear, concise manner to various levels of stakeholders including both end users and senior/executive leadership. They must feel comfortable navigating complex and ever-changing environments with the ability to educate and persuade senior stakeholders. They will possess the ability to drive change throughout a large, global organization.

Qualifications & Skills:
* 8+ years of relevant work experience with global corporations and financial services experience gained in Banking or in an associated consulting role
* 5+ years of experience in successfully managing complex projects and programs through the full project lifecycle, from conception through rollout and ongoing support.
* Experience as a Organisational/ Business Change Manager with SaaS enabled ERP transformations (Oracle, SAP, Workday) is a plus
* Strong Program Lifecycle awareness and an understand of inputs critical for Implementation; particular focus on training, testing and post go live support
* Strong written/verbal communications skills; must be concise, articulate, and persuasive with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions and the judgement and authority to provide insightful commentary to senior stakeholders.
* Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with all levels within the organization including senior management, including a proactive and ’no surprises’ approach in communicating issues/requests
* Growth mindset, seeking and implementing feedback and maintaining flexibility to pivot and course correct as needed
* Excellent oral and written communications skills; must be articulate and persuasive Ability to drive change to business practices by working effectively across a global organization and to understand different perspectives.

* Bachelors’ degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management, Engineering, or related field is required
