Job Profile: Air Freight Coordinator - Basildon
Streamline Search are recruiting on behalf of our client. Our client has been established for nearly 30 years and are experienced in the Freight and Logistics industry. They handle importations and exportation’s of all/any cargo’s by multimodal means- Air, Sea, Road & Rail. They are looking for an Air Freight Coordinator to enhance their busy team.
Air Freight Coordinator- Responsibilities
* Communicating our various customers, suppliers, and sub-contractors such as shipping lines, hauliers, and depots.
* Raising internal files
* Raising Invoices
* Passing supplier invoices and querying where necessary
* Checking vessel arrivals
* Arranging collections and deliveries, making sure to meet customer deadlines.
* Following up after delivery to ensure the customer was happy,
Air Freight Coordinator- Requirements
* Proven successful track record of at least two years working for a small to medium sized freight forwarder.
* Experience of FCL (Forward Computer Limited)
* Strong attention to detail.
* Good communication skills and friendly personality.
* Competent using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
* Strong and dynamic team player.
Air Freight Coordinator- Remunerations
* Monday to Friday 0900-1700hrs
* £28,000-£32,000
* Standard holiday plus bank holidays
* Onsite parking
* Company pension
